Refunds and cancellations

This policy applies to paid Framework Design courses, workshops, and mentoring sessions. It does not cover products or delivery models we do not offer. For enrolment questions contact hello@framework-design.digital or +61-9-735-4280.

Eligibility

Refund requests must come from the person named on the invoice or an authorised payer. We assess eligibility against the timeframes and conditions below and against non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Timeframes

• Foundations and multi-week courses: Full refund of fees paid if you cancel in writing more than fourteen days before week one. Between fourteen and seven days, a fifty percent refund of the course fee after deposit handling. Inside seven days, fees are non-refundable except where Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
• Weekend intensives and single-day workshops: Full refund more than ten days before the event; fifty percent between ten and five days; non-refundable inside five days.
• Mentoring blocks: Cancel or reschedule with at least twenty-four hours’ notice for a full credit toward a future block. Later cancellations or no-shows forfeit that session fee.

Deposits

Deposits hold a seat. If you cancel outside the full-refund window, the deposit may be retained as a cancellation fee reflecting administrative and seat-reservation costs, unless a consumer guarantee applies.

Partial refunds and work already started

Once a multi-week course has begun, we do not refund for sessions already delivered. If Framework Design cancels a remaining portion of a course, we refund a pro-rata amount for undelivered sessions or offer a transfer to a later intake.

Non-refundable items

Printed materials already produced for your seat, third-party venue fees where applicable, and completed mentoring sessions are non-refundable. Digital workbook licences issued at enrolment remain yours; they are not a basis for partial cash refund after download.

Rescheduling

You may request a transfer to a later intake of the same course once, subject to seat availability, if you write to us at least seven days before the original start. Mentoring reschedules follow the twenty-four-hour rule above.

No-shows

Failure to attend without notice is treated as a late cancellation. Remote seats that never connect are treated the same as studio no-shows.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@framework-design.digital with your invoice number and reason. We confirm the outcome within ten business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen business days of approval.

Exceptions

If illness or other serious circumstances prevent attendance, contact us promptly with supporting detail. We may offer a transfer or partial credit at our discretion without creating a standing entitlement beyond consumer law.
