Privacy policy

Framework Design (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through framework-design.digital and related course administration. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

We collect your name, email address, phone number if provided, course preferences, preferred dates, and the content of messages you send. If you enrol, we also keep payment references from our invoicing process, attendance notes, and submitted homework charts you choose to share. Technical logs may include IP address and browser type when you visit the site.

Purpose of processing

We use this information to respond to enquiries, administer intakes, deliver courses and mentoring, improve our teaching materials, and meet legal record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Legal bases and consent

Enquiry and enrolment processing is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you. Marketing emails such as studio notes are sent only where you subscribe or otherwise consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Retention

Enquiry records without enrolment are kept for up to twenty-four months. Enrolment and invoice records are retained for seven years to meet Australian tax and consumer record expectations. Cohort discussion board content is deleted within ninety days after an intake closes unless a longer retention is required for a dispute.

Sharing

We use service providers for email delivery, invoicing, and website hosting. They process data on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of participants.

International transfers

Some processors may store data outside Australia. Where that occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter.
